A Melbourne woman is (incredibly) recovering in hospital after a freak accident that happened in Tuesday's afternoon peak. There have been scenes of chaos on Melbourne's Tullamarine Freeway where an exit sign fell and crushed a car during peak hour. #9News pic.twitter.com/PePfDHsi8O — Nine News Melbourne (@9NewsMelb) January 8, 2019 A large freeway exit sign fell onto her car on the Tullamarine Freeway, which then caused the inbound exit to Bulla Road and Bell Street in Pascoe Vale South. Emergency services were called to the scene and the woman, with minor neck injuries, was taken to the Royal Melbourne Hospital. Acting Sergeant Jason Lane has urged motorists with dash cam footage of the incident to come forward. The woman is expected to make a full recovery. Share this: . .
