Cycling Victoria has offered counselling to anybody who was affected by the crash at the Bendigo Madison. A mid-race crash on Sunday night left one spectator and four cyclists injured. Almost half of the field were involved in the crash, which happened with 138 laps remaining of the 200-lap race. One rider spilled over the fence into the crowd, hitting Maryborough spectator Ross Forster, 70, who was left with multiple facial fractures.
