A man has died in a horror farm accident involving a septic tank. The man, who was in his 70s, suffered fatal injuries when he was emptying a septic tank on the farm. The incident happened on Tuesday morning in Ferrybank, Co Waterford. He was pronounced dead at the scene and his body was taken to University Hospital Waterford where a post mortem will be conducted. Waterford. "A man in his 70s suffered fatal injuries when emptying a septic tank on a farm. "He was pronounced dead at the scene. Meanwhile 49-year-old John Doyle died in a freak accident on Monday. It is believed that the Clonegal-native may have fallen from a height while unloading his truck.
